“To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. The only way to fail in discovery is to give in to pushback. Success lies in persevering through opposition.”

Jacob has lived in Wichita for 14 years, moving from Richmond, Virginia, when he was just 3 years old. He is the son of David and Adrienne and the second of five children.
Currently finishing up his senior year at the Classical School of Wichita, Jacob has participated in numerous sports and activities during his time there, including mock trial, honor choir, tennis, cross country, soccer, basketball, and student leadership.
At church, Jacob serves on the student leadership board for his youth group and also serves as an acolyte during mass. He also is part of an organist apprentice program with the goal of playing regularly during church.
Jacob is undecided on where to attend college next year, but his top options are the University of Tulsa, Benedictine College, and Baylor University. He currently plans on studying either law or medicine after his undergraduate education.
Though not sure about his future career, Jacob is excited to learn in the college setting and find what educational pursuit interests him the most. His philosophy in this resides in Romans 8:28, which reads, “We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.”
Jacob is very grateful for the immense opportunity this life-long learning scholarship affords him and hopes to fully embody the multi-faceted love of learning the foundation stands for.
