Morgan Graduates and Secures Full-Time Job

Congratulations to Raif Morgan (Derby High, 2025), who earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Management from Wichita State University!

Following graduation, Raif will be employed at Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, KS, as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst. After a successful summer internship as a Supply Chain Management Intern at Spirit, Raif was offered a full-time position on the Strategic Sourcing team. There, he will contribute to the supply chain by creating statements of work for airplane part suppliers, assessing supplier capabilities and impacts, and developing strategies for growth and risk mitigation.

While Raif is unsure about pursuing a postgraduate education, he has developed an interest in law and the legal field. As he begins his career at Spirit, he will be seeking to form new connections in the legal field to help him determine whether law school is the right fit for him.

Raif will continue to make travel a priority, and his next trip to Mexico with his girlfriend, Allison, is fast approaching in October. Raif and Allison also hope to plan a trip to Germany in the coming years, where they plan to go on a bike trip along the Moselle River and explore the local cultures of the quaint villages along the way.

He will continue to seek out opportunities for cultural enrichment, both domestic and abroad, and it is his ultimate hope that he can utilize his love for these experiences to be a part of something greater, whether it be his career or a hobby.

Raif will also continue to participate in shotgun shooting sports as a hobby, and he would love to introduce many others to the sport. Whether it’s going out to shoot on a nice day with friends and family or signing up for a local competition, you can find Raif enjoying shotgun shooting sports beyond his time on the WSU team.

“My undergraduate experience has been a time of extraordinary growth and value; from the key business knowledge I’ve gained to the lasting friendships and connections I’ve made. I will always be grateful for the mentorship and support I have received not only from Wichita State but also the Foundation. I could not have done it without the unwavering support of my family and friends, who have always been there when I’ve needed them most. I am thrilled to take my first steps into a post-college world and dive into the world of supply chain in aviation! Although I can never be certain as to what’s next, I have no doubt that unlimited opportunities await me and I can’t wait to explore them!”
